TRACK & CLUB INFORMATION

The Go Kart Club of South Australia is a facility where members with their own karts come to practice and race. Club members enjoy access to the facility 7 days a week in daylight hours. Please note that we do not offer hire kart facilities.

PRACTICE
All practice will be in the Anti -Clockwise Direction  on the ” A” Track

PLEASE DO NOT REFUEL OR LUBE CHAINS ON THE BITUMEN or the in /out grids

as it destroys the integrity of the bitumen very quickly.
Similarly the weigh sheds, fuel and concrete dont mix very well and chain lube does`nt wash off.
Please take pride and care of the facility as a lot of hard voluntary work has gone into the complex for you the member to enjoy,
If you see a member carrying out said procedure it is up to you to remind them of the rule for the benefit of the facility and all who use it !
Monarto Karting Complex appreciates and THANKS YOU for your co-operation.

For information about how to get started in go karting see our get in to karting and membership pages

Members and fellow karters.
In 2013 we had open practice days before each meeting that was held at the Monarto Karting Complex. After feedback from members we have discontinued this for the 2014 season. Our members felt that by having open practice we diminished the value that was provided to them through membership of the DUBLIN/GKCSA.
In the case of bona-fide travellers, access to the track can be arranged via the GKCSA committee.
This means for practice you MUST be a member of either the GKCSA or Dublin clubs. We will be checking for memberships. As the only entry is via a key this means only members should be on the track. If a member has allowed a non club member onto the track they will be held accountable.
We need to protect the investment our club members have made in the complex and expect our fellow karters will follow the rules.
Regards              Andrew Jericho       President
